PRESEASON INFORMATION NIGHT🏏

We had our Preseason information night at the Clubrooms last Friday 1st August. Whilst there we lots of returning players from last season attending, there were also lots of new faces and a couple of returnees amongst the crowd to listen to Senior Coach Liam Keating go over all aspects of our preseason schedule.

Our captains for season 2025/26 were also announced. James Grubb (1sts), Jake Duff (2nds) and Seb Canals (3rds) will continue in their roles, whilst Cadel Ianna (4ths) takes over the role from Adam Lewis. We wish these gentlemen all the best for the upcoming season.

Preseason commences on Tuesday night at Elite Cricket Academy. Please be there at 7:45pm for an 8pm start. ECA is located at 89 Elm Park Dr, Hoppers Crossing.

It is extremely important that you attend the AGM, as there are some really important matters that need to be resolved, such as:

Vacant Positions (Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, General Committee). Some of these roles must be filled, as failure to do so will place our season in great jeopardy.

DON’T LEAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!

Life Membership (these two nominations have been accepted by the Committee, and will be voted on by all fully financial members)

Why is it important?

Resuming at 5/61, BSU lost their last five wickets to be bowled out for 98. Andy Jack (3/6) and Callum Bugeja (3/24) starred with the ball, and Cooper Cassidy claimed the last wicket to claim this seasons premiership.

It is with great sadness to hear past player and immediate past president Jim Sheedy has passed away today.
Jim was a club stalwart and a friend to all that knew him.
