Altona CC Seeking Senior Head Coach

Altona Cricket Club has been a member of the VSDCA since 1974. Formed in 1962, Altona is based on the edge of Cherry Lake and calls Frank Kirk Oval its home. 

We pride ourselves on our inclusiveness, and our strong ties between our junior and senior environments. 

We are looking for a Senior Coach to join our strong off field community and further enhance our on-field development in order to improve performance and strive for on field success.

Roles & Responsibilities

·       Structured training sessions with an emphasis on skill development and game awareness

·       Ensuring training sessions are engaging and fun

·       Organisation and implementation of the preseason program

·       Player management across all senior grades

·       Visible and tangible improvements in all senior grades

·       Continue to develop club culture on and off the field.

Preferred Requirements

·       Previous coaching experience (Premier Cricket, VSDCA or VTCA) preferred but not essential.

·       Level 2 qualification [desirable, or be willing to obtain)

·       Have a current Working With Children Check

·       Excellent communication and organisational skills

·       Passion for coaching and cricket

·       Intricate cricket knowledge
